Why should you play?
1. Short on time? Sit and go tournaments are for you.
An average one table sit and go takes an hour. Some are faster depending on the structure and amount of players. You can play some sit and go’s that last no longer than 30 minutes.
Whichever structure and amount of players the sit and go has, it’ll be at least 1/5th the time of a regular poker tournament.
2. Get final table experience quickly. If you make poker tournament final tables easily but have trouble finishing the job sit and go’s could be the answer.

Sit and go’s can be bought into for as little as $0.50. At the high end some sit and go’s can be played for $1,000 a player or more.
You’ll find the largest and most accessible sit and go’s at online poker rooms. There are hundreds upon hundreds of sit and goes to chose from at any given time online. Plus you can find just about any poker game in sit and go form.
Live sit and go’s are more often played as one table tournaments. Buy-ins for live games normally range from $20 to $500 so you’ll need a larger bankroll live than you would for online.
Whether you play decide to play sit and go’s online or live, they’ll definitely be quicker than a regular tournament and easier to make it to the money.
