"No Peaky Stud: Let Your Opponents Think They're Gambling"
No peaky stud is played with 2-7 players at a table.
After the dealer has shuffled and all the players have anted, the cards are ready to be dealt.
The deal starts with the first person to the left of the dealer.
Cards are dealt clockwise around the table.
Each player is dealt a total of seven cards face down, you're not allowed to look at their cards, if you do your hand is dead.
After all players have seven cards, the dealer burns a card and turns a card face up so that all players can see the card.
The person to the left of the dealer flips up one card at a time, until they can beat the card the dealer turned up.
So if the dealer flips up a deuce, the player can flip up a three and that beats the card that the dealer turned up.
Once the player has a hand that beats the dealers card, there is a betting round where each player gets a chance to either check or bet.
Since nobody knows what they have it is usually checked around here.
Once all players have had a chance to act, the player to left of the first player, now tries to beat the first players cards.
The second player turns over one card at a time, until they can beat the previous players cards, this goes around the table with the next person trying to beat the previous players hand, with a round of betting after the new high hand is set.
A winner is determined once all players' cards are turned up or if there is one player left with cards and all the other players have folded.
It is best to use a button and start the deal with a different person every hand. I hope that these tips help you out, learning some strategies to this game will help you out even more.
Good luck!
