"Deuce Seven Strategies Help You Make The Best Decisions"

Learn deuce seven strategies and you'll know what to do at all times.

Have confidence with deuce seven strategies when playing single draw and triple draw.

What cards you play depends on a couple factors...

· position

· type of hand (pat/draw)

The earlier your position, the better your cards must be.

In early positions play pat hands.

The minimum pat hand in early position is 8-7-4-3-2. Any worse pat hand isn't playable.

In middle position your minimum pat hand is 9-6-5-3-2.

Late positions play 10-6-5-3-2 pat. You can play draws too.

Play one card draws like J-7-6-4-2, throwing away the jack. You can also draw at an eight, like Q-8-5-4-3. Anything worse shouldn't be played.

Make sure there is plenty of money in the pot to draw. You want three or more players to enter the pot for you to play your draw. Draw as cheaply as possible. If players enter the pot with a raise, fold your draw and wait for a better hand.

How to play your cards

In single draw, before the draw, play pat hands strong.

Enter the pot with a raise. The better the hand, the stronger you should play it.

Try to play draws as cheaply as possible. Calling the big blind or a single raise, if there are three or more players in the pot.

After the draw bet your pat hands. If you feel you have the best hand, bet as much as you think they will call.

Bet your hand when you make a draw. Bet an amount you think your opponent will call. If you miss your draw, check and fold, don't put more money in the pot!

In triple draw, put in as many bets as possible with pat hands. Bet/raise if you feel you have the best hand.

Play draws cheaply. If you don't make your hand after the second draw, fold. The betting amount doubles after the second draw. You don't get enough pot odds after the second draw.

What do you do when you get...

· bet into

· raised

· or check raised?

The answer depends on...

· the player

· the situation

· your cards

A tight player won't re-raise with worse than 8-7-6-3-2. A loose player can re-raise with J-8-6-3-2. Consider a players style (tight/loose) and play accordingly.

If a player is losing a lot, they might make a play. Loose players are more likely to try than tight players.

If you have 7-5-4-3-2, it doesn't matter if you get raised, that's what you want when you have the nuts!

Against a tight player, call with 8-5-4-3-2 or better. Re-raise with any seven.

Against a loose player, call with 8-7-6-5-3 or better. Re-raise with 8-5-4-3-2.

Whenever you feel you are beat, fold your hand. Wait for a better situation, when you know you have the best of it.

Deuce seven strategies will become instinct the more you play.

Hit the tables, and good luck!
