So how did I come to create and run a poker information website?

The story begins years ago when I first learned to play poker. My father taught me five card draw on a road trip. I was fairly young at the time maybe 6 or 7 and although I didn’t fully understand the game it obviously made an impression on me.

From there I played sporadically with family for loose change.

Then in high school I learned texas hold-em with friends. We’d play for quarters and the occasional dollar would get thrown into the pot when someone had a big hand or decided to bluff.

It wasn’t until about 3 years out of high school that I REALLY got the poker bug.

I had taken a trip to Las Vegas to visit family.

This is usually the point where the story turns to how I stumbled upon a poker game in Vegas and hit it big but its not. This is where I tell you I saw a World Poker Tour episode on TV and was hooked.

When I returned home I vowed to learn everything about poker I could.

Which then lead me to becoming a pro-poker dealer.

I’ve dealt poker professionally for five + years now. I get to do what I love everyday. But I wanted to do something more and sharing the knowledge I’ve gained and continue to gain seemed part of the natural progression process.

Building this website is part of that natural progression.
